Where are you located?

Canadian Scholars’ Press is located on Bloor St. West, just west of Avenue Road, across from the new entrance to the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM). We are located on the 8th floor in suite 801.

The closest subway stations are Museum (on the University line) and St. George (on the Bloor line).

What are your hours?

During the regular season, Canadian Scholars’ Press is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. We offer extended hours during the fall and winter rush.

What payments do you accept for coursepacks?

Our store conveniently offers a wide range of payment options including cash, debit and all major credit cards.

Can I purchase coursepacks online?

Yes. If your coursepack is being sold through Canadian Scholars’ Press directly instead of a campus bookstore, you are welcome to make a purchase through the website using any major credit card. Shipping is $6 to anywhere in Canada, and turnaround time is 24 hours plus two days for delivery.

If you have requested to pick up your coursepack, please ensure you provide your phone number with your request. A CSPI customer service representative will contact you to let you know when the package is ready for pickup.

Are coursepacks returnable?

No, all coursepack sales are final.

How are coursepack permissions priced?

The most significant factor in determining the cost of any coursepack is the cost of paying permissions to writers and publishers for their intellectual property. Permission prices vary according to which publisher is being sourced, whether materials are in the public domain and what the origins of the sources are (ie. book, journal, newspaper, etc.).
